SSIS Package Configuration using Environment variable

Environment variable- A system environment variables are defined by Windows and apply to all computer users. Changes to the system environment variable are written to the registry, and usually require a restart of the SSIS package to become effective. 

Let’s see how to create

Go my computer property

Click on the environment variables.  

Now creating the system variable   

Click ok. 

Note: After creating the Environment variable we need to restart the computer then only we are able to see the environment variable.

Now we are creating the package and creating the variable and showing this variable value using script task.  

Executing this package.

                             
Now we need to create the package configuration.  

Select and click ok.  

Click next and ok.

Now we are ready to run the package.
